Tedy Wibowo ditangkap Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Khusus Polda Riau di Jalan Mutiara, Perumahan Grand Mutiara Blok B.11 Kecamatan, Senapelan, Selasa, 19 Januari 2021.
"Berawal adanya informasi yang didapat bahwa adanya pelaku usaha kosmetik yang tidak memiliki izin, kemudian tim Subdit satu melakukan under cover buy kepada usaha tersebut melalui aplikasi online Shopee dengan jasa kurir J & T," ucap Direktur Reserse Kriminal Khusus Riau, Kombes Pol Andri Sudarmadi kepada RIAUONLINE.CO.ID, Rabu, 27 Januari 2021.
Pelaku dikenakan Pasal 197 Jo Pasal 106 ayat 1 dan ayat 2 UU RI Nomor 36 tahun 2009 tentang kesehatan sebagaimana telah dirubah dengan pasal 60 UU RI Nomor 11 Tahun 2020 tentang Cipta Kerja dan/atau Pasal 62 ayat 1 Jo Pasal 8 ayat 1 hruf i dan j UU RI No 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen.
"Dengan ancaman pidana penjara paling lama 15 tahun dan denda Rp 1.5 Miliar," tutup Kombes Andri.
